It looks good, and performs just as well. The Yamaha EF2000iS is a well respected, premium brand home generator - which is able to produce up to 2000 watts of power at any one time.

But it's not just the power which matters with this machine. Yamaha has thought long and hard before creating this product, and the end result reflects an exceptional dedication from the design team - as well is an awesome effort from the engineers and electricians combined.

Power Output
As we have already mentioned, the Yamaha EF2000iS generates 2000 watts of power at any one time. The manufacturer considers this to be "clean power" - as the product has a series of filters which catch many of the harmful substances omitted whilst the machine is functioning.

With a full tank of gas, a user can expect the Yamaha EF2000iS to run for a whole 10.5 hours continuously - thanks to the inbuilt fuel efficiency monitor, and the other technology behind this product.

Engine Details
The Yamaha EF2000iS is powered by a 79CC, 4 Stroke gas motor. Whilst it us unfortunately Non-CARB compliant (which means that it cannot be used in California), we think that the efficiency of the motor makes it one of the greenest power generators available on the market.

This is also evident in the weight of the overall product. Weighing in at just 44 pounds - the Yamaha EF2000iS is one of the lightest generators we trialled as well.

Sound Reduction Technology
Given the price of the Yamaha EF2000iS - you should expect some significant added technology to come as standard. Indeed, Yamaha has thought long and hard about the things they could do to improve their product.

The EF2000iS model comes standard with advanced noise reduction technology. This is achieved by padding the entire product with a glass / wool combination material - which absorbs noise, and dampens any excess sound - even at the highest level of output.

Standard Warranty
On top of all of this, the Yamaha EF2000iS comes with a standard two-year warranty - which covers all components and casing (in other words, everything).

We'll come right out and simply say that the Yamaha EF2000iS is by far the best 2,000 watt generator that we have ever trialled. It would be a conspiracy if we were to hold back a five-star rating from this product - and therefore, that is exactly what we will award it.

The Yamaha EF2000iS generator performs well on so many levels - provides a reliable power supply - and is future proofed with on-board technology that is currently leading the way we think about home generators. Congratulations to Yamaha for producing such an exceptional product.
