ETQ TG1200 Gas Powered Portable Generator Review
The ETQ TG1200 is definitively the slenderest product which has been released by ETQ thus far. Weighing in at less than 45 pounds, and generating 1,000 watts of power at continuous churns (1,200 max watts for surge) - you'll need to have a clear objective for this generator if you are to enjoy using it.
Of course - there are a number of instances where the ETQ TG1200 would beat any other generator. Namely - at work - where you are able to power tools without needing to clog up the main power board. We took the opportunity to have a more intimate experience with the TG1200 - and our findings are included below.

Power Output
As we have already mentioned, the ETQ TG1200 offers us a fairly modest power output of approximately 1,000 watts at continuous operational load. When necessary however, the machine can bump that up to 1,200 - and this is considered the specified surge quantity.
Whilst ETQ always do their best to create a green and environment friendly home generator, this product does not meet the CARB requirements - and is therefore not available for sale in California.
Engine Details
Under the hood, the ETQ TG1200 sports a 2 stroke, air cooled engine - which is stunningly quiet. At maximum production, the loudest sound you will hear will be less than 65dB. This is not bad - and will be acceptable enough to run in even the most upmarket neighborhood.
The engine has room for a single gallon of gas at any one time - and whilst this may seem like a small amount - you can crank the machine in to action for 5.5 hours without having to refuel.
Onboard Technology
As you would expect with any product from ETQ - some of the latest technological advances have been incorporated in to this product. Let's go through just a few of them.
Firstly, there's the total harmonic distortion reliever - which numbs down the electrical distortion to an amazing 6% maximum. This probably won't mean a lot to those who live outside of the electronic realm - but believe us, it's impressive, and it ultimately means that your appliances will be kept safe from surges and random power waves whilst in operation.
Secondly, the ETQ TG1200 features a number of different adapters and sockets - inbuilt and sourced of the single 120 volt connection. This is useful when it comes to running many different types of appliances off this machine.
Finally, whilst it's not a technological feature - it's worth nothing that you will get a free 1 year manufacturer's warranty on this product - as standard when buying the machine.

We were genuinely impressed with the ability of the ETQ TG1200 to perform and product reliable power, whilst being so light and quiet.
